Simon-Kucher strives for worldwide growth and expansion in terms of revenue, offices and qualified employees. Our growth provides a dynamic environment in which consultants are constantly given new opportunities for further career development.
Since Simon-Kucher was founded in 1985, we have been growing – considerably better than the rest of the consulting market. Our goal is to double revenue every five years. By 2015, the year of our 30th anniversary, we want to achieve 200 million euros in revenue. With a current revenue of 172 million euros, we are already well on our way.
Globalization and Offices
We think and act beyond national borders. Approximately half of our revenue is already being generated outside of Germany, our home market. Our global outlook is a core element of our identity and strategy. To stay on top of rapidly globalizing markets and to profit from the growth opportunities they offer, we will continue to open new offices in emerging markets.
Simon-Kucher opened its first office in Bonn, Germany in 1985. Just over a decade later in 1996, we opened our first foreign office in Boston, MA. Our radius has since expanded with offices throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia – bringing us even closer to our clients. We currently have 29 offices in 22 countries (Atlanta, Atlanta, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Beijing, Bonn, Boston, Brussels, Cologne, Copenhagen, Dubai, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Milan, Munich, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Santiago de Chile, São Paulo, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, Toronto, Vienna, Warsaw, Zurich). In the coming years, we will continue on our globalization track, opening new offices.
Internationalization and Employees
Over half of our employees are based outside of Germany. With our offices worldwide, we can communicate globally about current market situations, trends and consulting projects. Our consultants speak many languages, have strong intercultural competence and work primarily for international clients. Thanks to the tight network of teams and the regular rotation of specialists between offices, we are always up-to-date. We offer profound know-how and experience in a broad spectrum of international and domestic industries for large corporations and mid-sized companies. Our annual “World Meeting”, something unique in the consulting industry, brings together all of our employees from every office for a meeting in Bonn. Together we discuss future challenges, exchange insights and experiences and set targets for the coming year.
