Kai Bandilla studied business management at the University of Saarland and at the EAP European School of Management (Paris-Oxford-Berlin). In 2000 he attended the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate Business School in California.
He started his career in the sales force of Rank Xerox before joining Alexander Proudfoot in Germany. In 1991, Kai joined Roland Berger and he became a partner in 1998. He consulted leading companies across Europe mainly on strategy, marketing, PMI and organization projects.
In 2003, Kai Bandilla was appointed Managing Partner of the Paris office of Simon Kucher & Partners. Since then, he has been working on price strategy, price setting and price process issues covering a large number of industries (industrial, automotive, services, tourism, banking and FMCG’s).
Since January 2009, he is Managing Partner of the new Brussels office. As of January 2010, Kai Bandilla is a member of the Executive Committee of Simon-Kucher.
Kai Bandilla has lived in Paris for 18 years and is a member of numerous French-German associations. For 3 years, Kai has been lecturing the pricing course of the Masters program at the Paris Dauphine University. Since 2008, he is also a visiting lecturer at Insead.
