Dr. Jan Engelke

Dr. Jan Engelke is a Managing Partner of Simon-Kucher & Partners’ Zurich office and project manager in the Competence Center Banking. In his 12 years in consulting, he has completed over 80 projects, primarily as a project manager.
Dr. Engelke has managed numerous national and international strategy, marketing and organization projects. He specializes in developing and implementing marketing and pricing strategies. Much of his work focuses on developing and creating complex value-based purchasing behavior and market simulation models as decision support systems for price optimization and product and service configuration.
He was awarded a Doctorate in Biophysics in 1996 from the University of Frankfurt, where he spent four years as a research assistant in the department of biophysical chemistry. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Technical University of Darmstadt. While working toward his doctorate, he also took a correspondence degree at the FernUniversität Hagen, graduating in business physics in 1996.
Dr. Engelke is a contributor and speaker for Management Forum, Management Circle, Euroforum, IIR, ZfU and in-house seminars.
