Optimization of Services
Problem
A company differentiated itself through a number of services for processing its product. The effect these services had on costs could be seen in the increasing budget. The company urgently needed to choose a limited selection of services and optimize them.
Project Goal
The goal of the project was to determine which types of services and what level of service should be offered.
Procedure
Measurement of the value of the services and determination of customers' willingness-to-pay using Conjoint Measurement.
Results
Of the 40 services previously offered, 15 were eliminated, 10 were reduced in scope, and the rest were improved and offered to the customers at list prices.
