Mentoring
Starting a job is exciting and you’ll probably have plenty of questions — on everything from using our pricing tools and advancing your career to ironing out administrative details and finding good spots to grab lunch.
When you’re new, it isn’t always easy finding someone to approach with questions. We assign each new associate a mentor to help navigate his/her new position from the start. From past pairings, we’ve noticed that it’s usually helpful if the designated mentor is someone who is established within the firm, who hasn’t worked on your project team, and who can provide you with a neutral perspective. Of course, the mentor-mentee relationship is informal and voluntary.
As you grow in your position, you’ll likely connect with other colleagues to whom you may turn for input and guidance. But in the meantime, it’s good to know that there’s someone you can approach for support when you need it.
