Dr. Dirk Schmidt-Gallas (Managing Director Frankfurt)

Dr. Dirk Schmidt-Gallas is a Partner with Simon-Kucher & Partners and leader of the competence center financial services. He is also the managing director of SKP’s Frankfurt Office.

Dirk has extensive international consulting experience in the financial services sector. His clients include top-tier banks and insurance companies that he advises on complex pricing strategies, optimal product and service offering design and effective marketing implementation.

He studied business at the University of Mainz, Germany, focusing on marketing and finance/risk management. He wrote his dissertation for Deutsche Bank on strategic product design, including a research assignment at Yale University in the USA.

He is author and co-author of numerous books and papers in leading journals in the financial services domain on strategy, marketing and pricing in the financial services sector in Germany and abroad. Dirk is a regular speaker at key industry conferences.
