Marc is Simon-Kucher’s Global Head of Digital Strategy, based in London. He is passionate about business transformation in the digital age, the impact of digital in large organizations and the disruption across industries. He has been a trusted advisor for a large number of C-suite executives in co-creating the digital strategy and navigating the organization in a changing business environment.
As an executive partner, Marc has set up the digital business at Accenture in the Netherlands as well as globally for Saatchi & Saatchi in London. In the past 20 years he has worked with multiple global clients to shape and deliver the Digital Transformation agenda. Marc has a focus on topline growth and marketing. Specifically, he drives sales transformation, as this is key for organizations to stay or become leaders in their industry, and innovation, which enables them to become game changers.
He has worked across multiple industries: Automotive, financial services, telecoms, consumer goods, and the energy sector. Key clients are: Toyota, P&G, Heineken, PSA Group/Citroën, T-Mobile, JDE, RWE Energy, Achmea Insurance. Specialties: Business transformation with focus on topline growth, digital strategy, consumer behavior, innovation in omnichannel, change management – he’s a pure digital veteran.
He has an MBA in Business Economics from the University of Groningen. He also studied at the UCLA and the University of Tokyo where he wrote his thesis. Marc is a frequent speaker at events, wrote and contributed to industry articles.
