Joel's consulting focus is on pricing and sales excellence, including but not limited to: pricing & packaging optimization, go-to-market strategy, sales strategy and steering, and negotiation management. His knowledge of pricing & sales concepts such as behavioral economics helps him to understand the psychological drivers of pricing & purchase decisions. This enables him to help his clients better understand, quantify, and communicate their customer benefits to the market.
He has conducted consulting projects for companies in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, & Africa. He has in-depth industry experience with technology companies, working with leaders across B2B & B2C SaaS/XaaS, two-sided markets, online advertising platforms, EdTech, and more. He also has worked with leaders in other industries, most notably in the automotive space.
Joel earned his B.S. in Marketing at the R.H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park and received his Masters in International Management with a specialization in International Business from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. He has been with Simon-Kucher since 2012.
