Kiran Pudi is a senior director in Simon-Kucher's Singapore office. He leads the Chemicals practice for Simon-Kucher in Asia and co-leads the B2B practice across Asia.
He brings over 12 years of pricing consulting experience, serving B2B and private equity clients across many industries and geographies. He has conducted several end-to-end pricing transformation projects, involving price setting, commercial terms, price execution, capability building, assessment, and monitoring. His industry coverage includes chemicals, industrials, private equity, manufacturing, high-tech, business services, and automotive spread across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
He has worked extensively in Asia across all major countries, from Japan, China, and India to Thailand, Indonesia, and Australia. He comes armed with experience in pricing strategy, transformation, and price rollout projects in Asia and has helped several Asian clients in developing their pricing capabilities and improving their commercial and sales excellence.
Prior to Simon-Kucher, he worked for McKinsey's global pricing practice in their New York and London offices. In addition, he founded and ran a pricing-focused consulting firm for eight years.
He holds a MBA from Darden Graduate School of Business at University of Virginia, US, and a Bachelor of Technology in chemical engineering from Osmania University, India.
He has authored numerous articles on general pricing topics and pricing in Asia. Most recently, his articles were published in Singapore Business Review and Hong Kong Business.
