Dr. Wei Ke is a Partner based in Simon-Kucher's New York and Toronto offices. He currently heads the company's financial services activities in North America and is Managing Partner of Simon-Kucher Canada.
Wei has advised leading financial institutions in North America and Europe on product innovation, pricing strategy, marketing & promotional tactics, customer value management, risk management, value communication, sales effectiveness, consumer behavioral biases, and big data analytics for both sides of the balance sheet.
Prior to Simon-Kucher, Wei’s professional and academic experience also covered consumer retail, self-storage, healthcare, shipping, and renewable energy industries.
Wei is a frequent speaker at banking and fintech conferences in the US, UK and Canada, and is regularly published in leading financial services journals, including Bank Accounting & Finance, BAI Banking Strategies, American Banker, and Mortgage Finance Gazette, on both sides of the Atlantic.
Wei is currently also an adjunct professor for pricing and marketing analytics at Columbia Business School and at Queen’s University Smith School of Business.
Wei received a Ph.D. in Decision, Risk, and Operations from Columbia Business School, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering & Applied Mathematics, summa cum laude, from Columbia University.
