Carsten Studte is a Manager in the Life Sciences team at Simon-Kucher & Partners based in São Paulo, Brazil.
He specializes on market access strategies and strategic marketing, supporting both international and local pharmaceutical and biotech companies as well as small- to mid-sized healthcare and medical device companies. He also executed numerous projects developing launch strategies and communication tools/strategies. His main experience is focused on therapeutic areas including oncology, diabetes and rare diseases.
Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Carsten worked as a Product manager (Oncology) for a major German Biotech company and has experience in healthcare consultancy, developing innovative solutions for a range of projects on market access, marketing strategy, advocacy, and communication, for global pharmaceutical companies.
Carsten holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, having completed his Diploma theses at the University of Freiburg. His studies included a period at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Florianópolis, Brazil).
Carsten is fluent in German, English and Portuguese.
