Carles has 7+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, distribution and commercial strategy. Prior to Simon-Kucher he was a senior manager in Hotelbeds, where he was responsible for the business pricing strategy and the implementation of automated dynamic pricing methodologies. Prior to that, he also worked for Amadeus, where he was a revenue management consultant for airlines, focusing on demand forecasting and dynamic inventory management.
During his time at Simon-Kucher, Carles has been focused on the leisure, travel and hospitality industries, leading projects with hotel chains, amusement parks, cinemas and other industry players. He is an expert on dynamic pricing, distribution, demand forecasting and commercial growth iniciatives.
Examples of recent work include the development and implementation of a new subscription model for numerous theme parks, the assessment and re-definition of the external distribution strategy for a leading spanish hotel chain, the product and price architecture for both ticketing and F&B for a leading brand of cinemas. He is a regularly collaborates with newspapers and industry related magazines developing articles and providing expert opinion.
