Mark is a director in Simon-Kucher’s Life Sciences division. He is also a member of Simon-Kucher’s Diagnostics practice, which specializes in the imaging and in-vitro diagnostics space as well as related digital solutions. He is based in the Berlin office.
Mark has over six years of consulting experience and has conducted projects across the life science value chain, including projects with diagnostics and medtech companies, digital health innovators, B2B suppliers, healthcare providers, pharmacies and retailers, and health insurers.
In recent years, Mark has focused increasingly on supporting leading imaging and in-vitro diagnostics companies in large-scale commercial transformation programs. His project scope includes the development of commercial growth strategies, needs-based segmentation, portfolio optimization, offer design, business model innovation, customer lifecycle management, commercial system and tool specification, and sales and marketing reorganization.
He has also helped various small to midsize innovators in the healthtech and diagnostics space define their growth strategy as well as optimize and scale their commercial operations.
Mark holds a Master of Science in industrial engineering. During his studies, he conducted research and worked on marketing, sales, and digitalization topics in Asia, South America, and Europe.
