Vicente is a senior consultant in the Life Sciences division of the Boston office and joined the company in 2018. His consulting experience includes global pricing, market access, and commercial strategy for pharmaceuticals.
Vicente has worked with several of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies in a broad range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunology, and several orphan indications. He has advised clients on a number of strategic decision-making topics, including launch P&MA, price negotiation strategies, product positioning and value story, and organizational effectiveness. Vicente is an expert on the US healthcare system and several Latin American markets, namely Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico.
Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Vicente was a post-doctoral scholar in neurobiology at the University of Chicago, where he discovered the molecular identity of an ion channel involved in motion sensing in the inner ear.
Vicente earned his PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of Miami and received an award for academic merit. He also holds a master’s and bachelor’s in telecommunication engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Vicente has authored several peer-reviewed scientific publications and has extensive research experience in electrophysiology and molecular pharmacology.
