Dr. Roland Rueppell is a Senior Consultant at Simon-Kucher’s Banking Competence-Center in Zurich, and is currently working from the San Francisco office.
His consulting work focuses on the development of new pricing models, offering design, sales, value-pricing and –communication, as well as price differentiation. He is an expert in survey research methods, and specifically the measurement of customer willingness-to-pay. Moreover, he has done substantial work in the field of pricing for product innovations.
Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Roland was a visiting scholar at the Stern School of Business at New York University (NYU). His research was published in highly renowned academic journals such as the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), and in leading business magazines such as Forbes.
Roland holds a master's degree in Business Administration and Communication from the University of Mainz in Germany, and a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Lugano in Switzerland.
