Global consulting firm Simon-Kucher raises its global representation to 40 offices in 26 countries, expanding in the Nordics despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

The global strategy and marketing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners continues its expansion in the Nordic market with the opening of a new office in Oslo at the beginning of November. Joining existing offices in Denmark and Sweden, the Norwegian capital will be Simon-Kucher’s third location in the Nordics – and location no. 40 worldwide.

“With so many sectors impacted by Covid-19, companies have recognized the importance of commercial agility and a strong focus on revenue and profit. Our expertise in these areas means our services are in high demand”, says Mark Billige, CEO of Simon-Kucher.

The office in Oslo will be headed by Nicolai Broby Eckert, partner at the Simon-Kucher office in Copenhagen who has several years’ experience of developing consulting firms in the Nordic market. In addition, Simon-Kucher has recruited Håkon Sæberg, an experienced consultant with previous employment with Bain & Company and leading positions with Orkla, to build and develop the Norwegian business. He will be heading Simon-Kucher’s Nordic consumer & retail practice.

“For a number of years we have offered our consulting services for Norwegian customers from our offices in Copenhagen and Stockholm. Recently more and more Norwegian companies have asked for our consulting services on commercial strategy and revenue growth. For this reason, we are expanding our Nordic presence with a new office dedicated to delivering value for our Norwegian customers,” says Nicolai Broby Eckert.
