Dimitris is the Global Head of the Leisure, Travel and Transportation practice at Simon-Kucher. He holds a MSc in Decision Sciences and a BSc (Hons) in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics.
Dimitris has 20 years’ experience in pricing, marketing & revenue management. Prior to Simon-Kucher he worked for TUI Travel UK, where he was responsible for developing, implementing & supporting the first ever dynamic pricing solution for a tour operator business. Prior to that, he worked as a management consultant in the railway industry, focusing on ticket fare architecture, retail strategy & revenue protection strategies.
During his time at Simon-Kucher, Dimitris has been primarily focused on the leisure, travel and hospitality industries such as restaurants, holiday parks, hotels, tour operators and passenger transportation players. He is an expert on dynamic pricing strategies & systems, demand forecasting models, customer segmentation, CLTV management and personalization.
Examples of recent work include the development of revenue management systems for a global ferry company, the development and implementation of a loyalty scheme for a private-hire transfer player, menu price optimization for a global fast-food player and customer segmentation model for UK’s leading holiday park. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences on the topics of dynamic pricing, digitalization and personalization.
