Dr. Rainer Meckes is a Senior Partner at Simon-Kucher & Partners. He specializes in strategic corporate development, marketing, sales, pricing, discounting, and terms of trade.
In his consulting projects he has advised numerous automotive companies on how to sustainably boost their profits. He also has extensive project experience in the media and healthcare industries.
Before joining Simon-Kucher in 1997, Dr. Meckes studied business administration and statistics at the Institut Commercial de Commerce in Nancy and at the University of Trier, where he was subsequently appointed as an assistant lecturer.
Dr. Meckes is a speaker at the ZfU International Business School, the Management Forum and the Management Circle. He has written and co-authored numerous articles on marketing strategy, pricing policy, sales organization and methodology. He is a frequent conference speaker on these subjects.
