Stephan Schurz is a Partner in Simon-Kucher's Life Sciences practice working out of the Cologne office in Germany. He has also worked from Simon-Kucher’s Tokyo office.
He supports pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the development of pricing and market access strategies as well as product lifecycle strategies. Stephan is also leading Simon-Kucher’s activities on pricing and market access organizational and operational excellence. He advised many large pharmaceutical and biotech companies in addition to small specialty and medium-sized healthcare companies. His projects cover a wide range of therapeutic areas and markets around the globe.
Stephan is a speaker at international conferences and has published articles in national and international industry publications. He is a guest lecturer for the market access course at the EBS university in Germany. Prior to joining Simon-Kucher & Partners in 2007, Stephan studied business administration with a focus on strategy, organization and marketing at the University of Marburg, Germany.
Stephan has lived and worked in Europe, the US and Japan.
