Dr. Matthias Liefner is a Partner and Co-Managing Director Denmark at Simon-Kucher. He is a member of the Global Pharma & Biotech Practice within the Simon-Kucher life sciences activities. Previously he worked for 12 years at the company’s office in Bonn.
In his work at Simon-Kucher, he focuses on international market access strategies and pricing for the pharmaceutical industry, strategic pharmaceutical marketing, market entry strategies, product lifecycle strategies and value communication. He is an advisor to leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies across a wide range of therapeutic areas in all major healthcare markets.
Matthias holds a degree as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Göttingen in Germany. Before joining Simon-Kucher, he was a resident in neurosurgery for at the University of Bonn for three years. He is a frequent speaker at international healthcare-focused conferences.
