Jan Engelke is a Senior Partner at Simon-Kucher. He has more than 20 years of consulting experience, mainly in the banking sector.
Jan is responsible for the Swiss and Middle East banking markets, as well as for the Private Banking markets in Europe and North America. In this capacity, he has led numerous national and international projects and programs for universal, specialized and regional financial institutions.
In his consulting work, Jan uses all kinds of revenue levers to help banks and financial institutes increase their profitability: value proposition and positioning, segmentation, offer development and bundling, pricing and monetization, discount management systems, sales excellence and effectiveness, digitalization and innovation management, customer loyalty programs, post-merger integration, etc.
Beyond developing strategies and concepts, Jan puts emphasis on implementing them with his clients, and on supporting their organization throughout the entire transformation process.
Prior to joining Simon-Kucher in 1996, Jan studied business administration at the University of Hagen, physics at the Technical University of Darmstadt, and received his Ph.D. in biophysics from the University of Frankfurt.
