Peter is a Senior Partner and a member of the global Medical Technology practice within Simon-Kucher’s Life Sciences activities and currently based in Boston. For his first 8 years in the company he was based in Germany and then relocated in 2008 to the US to establish a local Medical Technology presence.
Peter has been supporting leading players in the medical device, diagnostics and healthcare IT space. Among his clients are 7 of the 10 largest MedTech companies but also multiple mid-sized and development stage companies.
Peter's interests include commercial strategies for paradigm-shifting technologies but also optimizing the full potential of in-market products and larger portfolios. In addition to product-focused consulting engagements, he has led several major pricing excellence initiatives geared towards sustainable profit growth by enhancing the client’s organizational pricing capabilities.
While many of Peter's projects focus on the US market, he frequently supports clients globally. In addition to Europe, he spent longer periods of time in Asia and Latin America for consulting projects.
Peter graduated from the University of Karlsruhe (Germany) with a master's degree in mechanical and business engineering specializing in corporate development and holds an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Connecticut.
Peter has published articles in leading publications such as MD+DI and is a frequent speaker at international conferences.
