Über Rohit

Rohit is a partner in Simon-Kucher’s New York office, advising PE/VC investors and C-suite leaders on value creation and profitable growth, with a core focus on semiconductors and advanced technology. He brings over a decade of experience translating strategic inflection points into pragmatic commercial programs spanning market entry, pricing, monetization, and commercial excellence—helping leadership teams move from ambition to execution through clear decisions, accountable operating models, and measurable outcomes.

Rohit works with semiconductor and advanced-technology leadership teams to build commercial systems that perform through cycle volatility, mix shifts, and fast-moving end-market demand. His work typically centers on value-based pricing and price architecture redesign, segmentation grounded in willingness-to-pay, and governance across the moments that determine capture—quoting, negotiation, rebates, and renewals—so results are driven by repeatable discipline rather than episodic deal-making. He is particularly focused on converting technology advantage into commercial advantage, aligning product, sales, and finance around a shared value story and enforceable rules of engagement so differentiated IP, performance, reliability, ecosystem support, and supply assurance translate into sustained price realization.

Beyond semiconductors, Rohit brings relevant depth across adjacent ecosystems where advanced technology is increasingly central to value creation. In automotive, he supports OEMs and supplier value chains navigating electrification and software-defined vehicle roadmaps, with engagements often at the intersection of pricing, go-to-market, and commercial operating model—protecting profitability while maintaining competitiveness across platforms and regions.

Rohit also advises industrial leaders in sectors such as mining, chemicals, and explosives, where pricing outcomes are shaped by input volatility, safety and regulatory constraints, complex logistics, and high-cost field service delivery. He helps teams reduce leakage and improve resilience through stronger price architecture, contract and surcharge design, and commercial discipline that better reflects true value drivers.

He complements this sector experience with work supporting two-sided B2B marketplaces and platform businesses, where growth and profitability depend on balancing liquidity with monetization. Rohit helps platform leaders design fee and take-rate architecture, sequence monetization, and build the commercial operating model—sales motions, onboarding and activation, account management, and governance—required to scale sustainably while maintaining trust across both sides of the market.

Rohit earned a MS from Boston University and BAs degree from Case Western Reserve University.
