The global consulting firm puts people and culture front and center with the election of Dr. Allison Dupuy and Dirk Kars to their leadership board
February 2, 2021 – The global strategy and marketing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners has elected two new partners to their leadership board. Dr. Allison Dupuy and Dirk Kars began their terms on January 1, 2021. “We are very excited to welcome Allison and Dirk to the leadership board”, says CEO Mark Billige. “They bring a wealth of experience and a new perspective with them.”
Dupuy holds current leadership positions as the Managing Partner of Simon-Kucher’s San Francisco office and US Head of the Healthcare and Life Sciences division. She is a member of the Global Pharma and Biotech Practice, the US Leadership Team, and the Life Sciences Leadership Team. She is a global pricing and market access expert and trusted advisor of leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies across a wide range of therapeutic areas. She is also a driving force in Simon-Kucher’s global Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) committee.
“Given Allison’s drive and success in her current roles, it was a natural decision for the partnership to elect her as our first female board member as we continue to support and champion women in leadership roles throughout our organization”, says Billige.
Kars is the Managing Partner of Simon-Kucher’s Cologne office. He advises pharmaceutical and biotech clients ranging from large key accounts to small startups on global pricing, contracting, and market access strategies. His areas of expertise include orphan drugs and innovative gene therapies.
With more than twenty years’ experience at Simon-Kucher, Kars has worked across multiple offices establishing and developing their Life Sciences teams. As such, he has played a major part in fostering the growth of the company, and his fellow colleagues throughout his tenure at Simon-Kucher.
