To add a blog component you need to follow the below steps:
- When in edit mode you will see this option in the editor -

- Click on it
- Once clicked, a modal will open and you should see a similar window like below

From this modal, you can add in the component you wish and by clicking on the dropdown icon you will see the other available components.
