Bastian is a Senior Director in Simon-Kucher’s Transaction Services & Private Equity practice in Munich.
He helps financial and strategic investors assess acquisition targets via growth-driven Commercial Due Diligence as well as in-depth Digital Due Diligence, and thoroughly outlined value-creation potentials. His focus sectors are Digital Commerce (D2C and e-commerce, online marketplaces, adtech, agencies), Media (data providers, gaming, social platforms, classifieds) and Software.
Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Bastian was the Managing Director at Valearis, a transaction advisory boutique focused on evaluating targets with digital business models. Prior to that he worked for eccelerate, a digital strategy consultancy as well as for Amazon in Customer Experience Strategy and for Altman Solon, a TMT strategy consultancy.
Bastian holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, as well as a Bachelor in Business Administration from Munich University of Applied Sciences.
