Dr. Jan Yian Yang is Senior Managing Director of Simon-Kucher & Partners’ China Desk. He oversees business development and project execution related to the firm’s China business.
Before joining Simon-Kucher, Jan gained a variety of industry and consulting experience in Greater China, serving clients from in and out of Asia and Pacific.
He is expert in monetization strategy and price management for B2B and B2C businesses. He has developed pricing strategies and supported implementation of pricing transformation for numerous clients in various markets with focus on China.
He holds two bachelor’s degrees in German and Business Administration respectively from Shanghai International Studies University and Peking University. He completed his MBA program with specialization in Finance and Strategy at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany, where he also obtained his PhD degree.
He is a frequent speaker at various strategy and pricing conferences and conducts trainings for executives, pricing and sales managers.
