Omar is a Senior Partner, Member of the Board, Co-Head of the Nordics, and Head of Healthtech at Simon-Kucher. Since joining Simon-Kucher, Omar has worked on all commercial aspects of frontend optimization within marketing, sales, and pricing.
Since joining Simon-Kucher, Omar has worked on all commercial aspects of frontend optimization within marketing, sales, and pricing. His experience covers a broad range of life sciences areas, including medical devices and equipment, diagnostic solutions and services, healthcare B2B services and products, and digital health and health IT. Omar has successfully managed and implemented global commercial excellence programs for a number of multinational life sciences companies in the US, Argentina, Canada, China, Brazil, Japan, the EU5, and Scandinavia.
Prior to joining the company, Omar worked as a management consultant at Quartz Strategy Consultants (now Bain) and Lufthansa Consulting. Afterward, he was the managing director of a Danish/Russian IT startup.
Omar received his MSc in management and a CEMS Master’s in International Management from the London School of Economics and University of St. Gallen, where he specialized in corporate strategy and finance. During his studies, he gained experience in the financial sector by working for Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.
