Robert Dumitrescu is a Partner, Member of the Board and Co-Head of Pharma & Biotech at Simon-Kucher.
He specializes in strategic pricing and marketing to support international and local pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. His expertise spans a range of pricing and commercial excellence topics, from strategy to implementation. These include value-based pricing, portfolio management, discounting structures and processes, and negotiation readiness.
Robert is also responsible for the firm’s animal health practice and regularly advises clients on topics including strategic pricing, trade terms, promotion policy, key account management, and pricing organization.
Since joining Simon-Kucher in 2004, he has been based in the United States, Germany, and France. He regularly speaks at healthcare forums and conferences, and contributes to industry publications. He is a guest lecturer at ESSEC Business School and Paris Dauphine University.
Robert holds degrees from Amherst College and the London School of Economics, and an MBA from INSEAD.
